Beyonce has mysteriously cancelled a tour date that should be taking place just eight days into her tour.
Her gig in Nashville, Tennessee on May 5 has been pulled with no explanation as to why, although a local publication has hinted that the fact there were a few empty seats might have something to do with it.
The Tenneseean reported that ‘The Nashville show does not appear to have sold out, unlike concerts scheduled in other cities.’
Her gigs in Tampa, Florida, Raleigh, North Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia are all set to still go ahead.
Live Nation released a statement about the cancellation: ‘Nashville tickets holders are advised to retain their tickets which will be honored at the rescheduled event.
‘There are no changes to any additional dates on this tour.’
TMZ, however, offered the explanation that the venue was undergoing renovations and that it wouldn’t be ready in time for Beyonce’s gig.
Sad times for Tennessee, as it looks like the Formation Tour is as expected – absolutely ruddy spectacular.
